Bushman's Hotel

  • 119 Shamrock St, Blackall 4472

The Bushman’s Hotel was built in 1891 with handmade bricks from the local brick factory near the Barcoo Hotel.

The bricks were ‘made from material from a nearby paddock and burned on the banks of the Barcoo’.

The historic building, constructed in 1891, has stood vacant for a number of years but has now been repurposed into the Bushman’s Gallery
